Ryno Kahl

Ryno co-founded Nova Site in September 2025 and handles most of the building — design, front-end development, deployment and the hosting and domain side afterwards. He has designed and built sites for businesses in construction, IT and networking, medical training, retail, printing, embroidery, dance and competitive swimming.
He works in hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript rather than page builders, which is the reason Nova Site’s sites load as quickly as they do. The work runs from the first layout through to the parts most people never think about: responsive behaviour at every screen width, the forms, the domain, the SSL certificate and the maintenance once a site is live.
He is finishing Grade 12 at Hoërskool Waterkloof, taking Information Technology, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, and has been accepted to start the IIE Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in Application Development at Emeris in 2027 — a three-year NQF Level 7 degree covering programming, web development, databases, cloud development and security. He also spent a stint as a part-time IT technician at PC Palace Group, and swims for his school’s A team.
He works in English and Afrikaans, and is the person most clients end up dealing with directly.

Matteo co-founded Nova Site alongside Ryno in September 2025 and works across client relationships, strategy and growth.
